Klopp Wants Liverpool to Agree $53million Playmaker Signing

Jurgen Klopp DortmundLiverpool are looking to reinforce their attacking midfield and the likes of Quincy Promes and Julian Brandt have been linked recently.
Yesterday, Liverpool Echo reported that the Reds have been tracking German international Brandt for quite some time and Klopp is keen to hire his services.
The 20-year-old Bayer Leverkusen starlet is a versatile talent who can play on either flank and also as a secondary striker if needed. This season, in 16 league appearances, Julian has scored 2 goals and provided 6 assists.
As per the provided Liverpool Echo link, the Merseysiders are aware that signing Brandt this month will be hard because the Bundesliga side do not want to sell him in the winter window. Therefore, Liverpool are looking to sign him next summer.
With Sadio Mane on international duty, the Reds should look to splash the cash and sign an attacking midfielder this month, not next summer.
Echo also cite reports in Germany and claim that the Kaiser has a release clause of 17 million pounds in his contract that can be activated in 2018. Moreover, for now he is rated around 20 million pounds.
However, his asking price is completely different as reported by SportBild in their magazine a week ago. The German source mentioned that Bayer Leverkusen want the same fee for Brandt that Schalke got for selling Leroy Sane to Manchester City last summer i.e. 50 million euros ($53million).

Two goals and six assists in 16 games is middle-of-the-table stuff, not what you’d expect from somebody supposedly capable of pushing us to the title. 10 goals and 10 assists, perhaps, 2 and 6, nah! I’m sure Crystal Palace and Stoke have players with similarly ‘good’ stats so why not ‘buy local’?
And no doubt we won’t do any business until the dying embers of the transfer window rather than do it early and, thereby, getting the use of the incoming player for the who transfer period.
A new purchase is supposed to help cover the absence of Mane, for a few weeks, so what is the point of NOT signing people now that he has gone? As he walked out the door somebody else should have been walking in!
As it is, we’ll have three or four games without any new arrivals and then wonder why we’ve fallen off the pace somewhat.
We’re doing okay, don’t get me wrong, but we started out with a dodgy keeper, a winger playing LB, dodgy CBs and no natural DM. Now we’ve got TWO dodgy keepers, a winger playing LB, dodgy CBs and no natural DM. Get my drift? I rarely get excited about LFC’s transfer activity.

You’re smack on with your goals and assists about Julian Brandt. 50 meters plus is way to much dough to throw away at someone who is not worth it.
If he had Suarez potential then yes definitely The Kaiser should grab him by all means. i agree with 2 of your statements above and i quote
” And no doubt we won’t do any business until the dying embers of the transfer window – I rarely get excited about LFC’s transfer activity’ close quote

Sign RYAN FRASER from BOURNEMOUTH a cheaper version of MANE. Super pace, young and skillful.
