Liverpool have an overcrowded attacking midfield and in such a scenario, manager Jurgen Klopp may as well look to offload a few players in the summer transfer window.
The Reds have players like Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho, Adam Lallana, Lazar Markovic and new summer signings Sadio Mane and Georginio Wijnaldum in the attacking midfield department.
Moreover, they also have a few young starlets such as the likes of Sheyi Ojo and Ovie Ejaria. The duo have impressed big time under the management of Klopp. However, in the presence of senior stars, it is highly unlikely that Ojo and Ejaria will play regular first team football.
After their latest victory against AC Milan, Klopp heavily praised Ojo and claimed that he is a “wonderful” player (Sky) who is going to be at Liverpool in the years to come. However, Jurgen may have to loan him this summer.
“Sheyi is a wonderful player that’s for sure and his future is 100 per cent at Liverpool. We don’t have to make decisions so early.”
The German manager rates Ojo very highly. The 19-year-old playmaker featured in 8 Premier League games and provided 3 assists last season under the management of the former Borussia Dortmund boss.
Overall, Sheyi featured in 37 games in all competitions in the last campaign, scored 9 goals and provided 9 assists.
In your opinion, should Liverpool keep Ojo this summer?
