Chelsea FC may sell one of their first choice midfielders Cesc Fabregas in the summer transfer window and Manchester United are ready to secure his services.
New boss Antonio Conte is looking to reinforce his midfield and the likes of N’Golo Kante, Radja Nainggolan and Andre Gomes are in the limelight.
In such a scenario, Spanish international Fabregas – a favorite of Mourinho – could become surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge and the Portuguese boss is ready to bring the former Arsenal captain to Old Trafford (Daily Mirror).
Fabregas left Barcelona to join Chelsea two seasons ago under the management of Jose Mourinho and won the title in his first Premier League season with the Blues. However, he had a very mediocre last campagin.
In 49 games (all competitions), Fabregas could only score 6 goals and provide 9 assists for the Blues. Nevertheless, Cesc is a proven quality star and will be a brilliant signing for Man United but can Mourinho lure him?

No comparison – Pogba would represent the future while Fabregas looked in decline last year. Kante would have been a better choice than either
Neither. There are other players out there who are cheaper and just as effective, if not more, as/ than the two.
No no no! In decline, fair weather player, disloyal, slow, inconsistent, ex Arsenal & Chelsea! Much prefer to sign Kante in addition to Pogba but worried we’ll end up with either Fabregas or Matic. Don’t go there Jose!
Here is a player who snubbed man utd when we wanted him. Now that he’s passed his use by date there’s no way that we should even be talking about him in the same breath as man utd. Give me Juan Mata over him any day.
None of them..better to look for a MATURE DEFENDER…that’s what United needs most…how is it that big pandits are not talking about this ?
Cesc is not the better addition spending 100m fr pogba is not good idea I prefer Kante and a quality and experience defender instead
