If reports are anything to go by then Manchester United are very serious about signing teenage Switzerland star Breel Embolo.
The striker has recently revealed (Schweizer Illustrierte) that his favorite song is “You’ll Never Walk Alone”. That comment may as well attract interest from Liverpool.
According to reports (Gianluca Di Marzio), Breel Embolo’s agent, Erdin Shaqiri (brother of current Stoke City attacker Xherdan Shaqiri) was contacted by Jose Mourinho to discuss a move for the Swiss striker.
Few days ago, German source Bild reported that Manchester United have offered 35 million Euros to hire the services of the 19-year-old forward.
As per the provided Gianluca Di Marzio link, Mourinho’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is now responsible to negotiate a deal and sign Embolo for the Manchester United boss.
The versatile forward directly contributed in 24 goals for Swiss club FC Basel last season. Moreover, he has been impressive for the national side at the European Championships as well.

I see absolutely nothing in this player, both in the you tube video of him and watching him play against France that would suggest he has anything more to offer for United than Martial and Rashford already provide, with the arrival of Zlatan I think this kid would be a bench warmer and nothing more.

Precisely. I don’t see anything special about this guy too. No power, average skills, average speed and no creativity. I guess this is why none euro giants other than United is trying to sign him.
