From Spain – Liverpool Pleases Highly Decorated Player – Must Sign

Jurgen Klopp DortmundLiverpool have largely improved under the management of Jurgen Klopp, however, the German boss has so far failed to improve the shaky defense and that is one dilemma Klopp must solve.
The former Borussia Dortmund boss has taken steps to improve the back line and have already agreed (LFC) a deal to sign Joel Matip in the summer transfer window.
Moreover, the Reds have also signed a new goal keeper in the form of Loris Karius (LFC) from the Bundesliga.
However, Klopp still needs to add more quality in his defense and a certain Spanish international can provide that.
According to reports (L’esportiu de Catalunya), Barcelona center half Marc Bartra has decided to leave the Spanish champions due to lack of game time. He only featured in 13 league games last season.
Liverpool are interested in signing the 25-year-old highly decorated defender who has won the Champions League twice and the Spanish title five times. As per the provided L’esportiu link, Liverpool are an option that pleases Bartra. Hence, it will not come as any surprise if he moves to Anfield.
In your opinion, should Liverpool sign Bartra?

Seen some ludicrous numbers mentioned for this Barca reserve, just as we do for every Barca reserve so rather worried about it. Still having counselling from us getting some unknown Madrid winger as part of the Michael own transfer to Real Madrid and he was bloody useless! He played about six games for us, I think?
Reserves tend to be reserves because they ain’t good enough to be first-teamers and if LFC are going to mount a serious challenge next year we need to spend our money wisely . . . and that sure as Hell doesn’t mean spending industrial skip-fulls of hard-earned dosh on reserves, no matter who they play for.
If necessary, get him on loan for a season and THEN hurl the cash at Barca if he’s done the business. Too many average players in this country now who seem to have been signed because they’ve got fancy, Latin-sounding names, tasty WAGS and snazzy haircuts!
Must admit I don’t know much about this guy so he could be good . . . but we daren’t spend huge sums badly. If I had to choose I’d go for another player used to playing in a hard, physical league like Germany as coming here might be a culture shock to some players from more gentile, pussy-footing leagues that give players five minutes on the ball before a tackle comes in. Somebody big, daft, quick and dominating should do the trick!
