However, the Reds need more firepower next season if they are to compete with the best of teams and challenge for big prizes.
The Merseysiders have been linked with numerous attackers and one of the names in the lime light is quality Italian playmaker Antonio Candreva. Back in February ITA Sport Press reported that Liverpool are lining up a move of €32 million to sign the Lazio star.
Now, according to reports (Express via Il Messaggero), Liverpool can pounce on the opportunity to finally sign Candreva because the Serie A side are ready to sell the 29-year-old Azzurri star for a fee less than €35 million.
Candreva is naturally a right winger but he has been effectively utilizef in multiple attacking positions. This season, he has scored 9 goals and provided 4 assists in 39 games for Lazio.

No…. Too old and too much money. Bolaise would be a better buy, much younger, premiership experience and very quick, an alternative that would complement Coutinho, firminho and lalana skills.

We may get or have to pay a little more / less for some players, but those in are serious upgrades on what we have. If PSG were to offer us £50m for Sturridge I would take and buy a like for like striker in, even try and go back for Suarez.
