The South American star has been Liverpool’s best offensive player since the turn of the year under German boss Jurgen Klopp. Firmino and compatriot Coutinho has formed a brilliant partnership for the Reds.
If reports (La Gazzetta Dello Sport) are anything to go by then Liverpool are in line to seal the signing of another South American playerin the form of Roma and Argentina’s versatile midfielder Leandro Paredes.

The 21-year-old La Albiceleste midfielder currently plays on loan for Empoli and has effectively been utilized in the defensive and central midfield role.
As per the provided La Gazzetta Dello Sport link, Roma are ready to sell Paredes alongwith few more players in order to attain funds for transfers and the likes of Liverpool, Atletico Madrid and City are in the running to sign him.
He has featured in 24 league games for Empoli this season, scored 2 goals and provided an assist. Should Liverpool sign Leandro keeping in mind that they already have a crowded midfield?

What we currently have in midfield just doesn’t cut it, Cann one day good one day bad no consistency, Henderson has just lost the plot, the captaincy has killed him, thinks about himself not the team, Milner works hard but creates very little, this is a good time to blood some of the youngsters as a top four finish looks further away than ever, we do not gel we are to ragged, we desperately need a leader, even Gerrard at 35 would be a better option. we need to bulk up show some pride, we are getting bullied to easily, the boss has a hell of a job on but nothing a few players and maybe some positional changes could resolve.

what you have cannot hinder to have another when it comes to quality and what you want to archive thereto. liver need more quality midfielder to get what fans expect. tell me who is a midfielder we have to the squad today who can be compared with either Alonso or Gerrard? l think do not protect weak mildfielders we have today then waiting to compete for top four unless otherwise you dream at the mid time.
