Forget Pedro – Man United to Confirm €78m Double Signing

Having sold one Argentine superstar this summer in the form of Angel Di Maria, Man United are linked with moves to bring two La Albiceleste stars to Old Trafford.
If reports are anything to go by then the Red Devils will be announcing the signings of Nicolas Gaitan (Benfica) and Lucas Biglia (Lazio) very soon.
Man United are linked with Barcelona playmaker Pedro as well but he was mainly a bench warmer last season whereas Gaitan once again played a pivotal role in helping Benfica win the title.
On the other hand, the 29-year-old Biglia was brilliant for Lazio last season and helped them earn Champions League qualification.
Metro cite reports in Belgium claiming that Manchester United are hours away from completing the signing of Biglia after agreeing personal terms with the Serie A star.
The Lazio captain is a quality central defensive midfielder rated around €39 million.
Moreover, Express reported that according to news in Portugal, Benfica have accepted a €39 million offer from Man United to sell Nicolas Gaitan. As per the provided link, the Red Devils are set to announce Gaitan signing within days.
