Champions Chelsea could not start their new Premier League campaign in the perfect fashion as Swansea held them to a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.
For worse, Chelsea will not have their star goalkeeper Courtois in the next few games as the Belgian international was shown straight red card against the Swans.
As far as the transfers are concerned, the Blues have added two key players this summer in the form of Falcao and Begovic. The duo were utilized as second half substitutes on Saturday.
Mourinho still needs to sign more quality stars and the latest name in the limelight is Ausburg’s left back Abdul Baba Rahman. According to reports, Chelsea are closing in to sign the 21-year-old Ghanaian star to replace Brazilian defender Filipe Luis.
Chelsea’s first choice left back is Spanish international Cesar Azpilicueta and it is highly likely that in his presence, Rahman will mostly find himself starting on the bench.
