After a disappointing transfer window so far, Arsenal may just secure two brilliant signings to cheer up the supporters.
The North Londoners mainly need to reinforce two key positions i.e. strike-force and defensive midfield. The Gunners do not have a world class goal scorer in their squad and to solve that dilemma, someone like Edinson Cavani will be brilliant.
On the other hand, Arsenal do have a top holding midfield player in the form of Francis Coquelin but if he gets injured, there is no one in the squad who can provide the much needed cover to the back four. Sevilla’s versatile star Grzegorz Krychowiak can be the man to complete Arsenal’s midfield.
According to reports, Arsenal are confident of sealing the signings of Cavani and Krychowiak before the transfer window closes this summer. However, Wenger may have to splash heavy cash to sign the quality duo.
The Uruguayan international is rated around 44 million pounds and the Polish star will cost around 22 million pounds. The duo can largely amplify Arsenal’s chances of winning the PL this season.
