Every season, Arsenal are linked with World Class players and almost every time they fail to secure top targets.
It seems highly likely that the same will happen this summer as well much to the despair of Arsenal fans.
The North Londoners already lost out on long term midfield target Sami Khedira who opted to join Juventus on a free transfer.
Nevertheless, with Coquelin in charge of defensive midfield, Khedira signing was not really needed.
However, Arsenal need a world class striker and this is not the first window where the case has been raised. Since the departure of Robin van Persie, Gunners lack a top quality regular scorer who could score at least 20 odd league goals in a season.
Once again, Gunners are linked with top strikers and were actually considered close to signing Jackson Martinez of Porto.
The fans were excited about the possible transfer but the latest reports suggest that Gunners have lost out on the Colombian international signing as well.
What is more baffling, Arsenal offer Champions League football but the Porto striker does not really care as he has agreed move to join Serie A side AC Milan.
The Rossonerri, 7 time European champions will not be taking part in Europe next season as they finished 10th last season.

Guys believe it. There will be no PL title for Arsenal next season cos AW gone back to his usual self. We do not need a world class player cos we will finish 4th spot anyway. That’s our championship and he is satisfied with that.
