Arsenal have not been performing at their best this season mainly because of consistent injuries to key players.
Nevertheless, the Gunners are in the top 4 and have almost secured qualification to knockout stage of Champions League.
Arsenal supporters hope that the team will hit top form once their first team players return and few are returning soon.
Star striker Olivier Giroud has been out since late August but as per the latest update provided by Arsenal Wenger, the French star will be joining training next week and it is likely that he will make the squad to face Manchester United.
“Giroud joins in training next week.”
Captain Mikel Arteta was injured again because of hamstring concerns in midweek against Anderlecht and will miss the next premier league game against Swansea at the weekend.
However, Wenger has provided good news that he will be back in action straight after the international break with United the next team to visit Emirates on 22nd November.
“Arteta will be out for Sunday. He has a mild hamstring strain and he will be out for a short period because it’s a grade one. He should be back after the internationals.”
Welbeck has been lively but not yet really effective for Gunners while Arsenal have lacked striker options. Hence, return of Giroud will be the biggest boost for the Nort London side.
