Manchester United were after several top midfielders in the summer transfer window but could only lure one.
Spanish international Ander Herrera joined from Athletic Bilbao and but has mostly been found on the injury table much to the despair of the manager and supporters.
Other than him, United do not really have quality options available in central midfield.
The Red Devils did want another versatile star to partner Herrera in midfield and chased Arturo Vidal but the Chilean stayed put in summer.
However, speculations have been there and the former Bayer Leverkusen star might finally be competing his move to Manchester United.
According to reports, Manchester United will sign Vidal in January. Ex Old Lady star Nicola Amoruso has revealed that €44m star will leave Juventus in near future.
He claimed:
“It seems to me that there will soon be a split [between Vidal and Juventus].”
“He is a player of value, but he needs to go and compete in other leagues.”
Juventus are flying high in the Serie A as you would expect them to but suffered another major setback in the Champions League as Olympiacos defeated them last night.
Losing a player of Vidal’s caliber that too mid season will be a big blow for the Italian champions and they must replace him with another top star. Again, that is not really easy in the January transfer window.
As far as United are concerned, they should not waste more time and must seal Vidal deal as soon as possible.

We don’t need him any more. His term has expired, bring ”Koke” and live Vidal alone.

Vidal wanted to join MANUTD even he spoke to a local radio in Chile after worldcup that, manu is a huge club and its a big honour to be linked with it, he also stated lets see what happens in near future, he wanted to join but manu didn’t sign him because of the injury concers.
