Manchester United failed to qualify for Europe under the management of Moyes and the minimum requirement this season is to finish in top 4.
However, Louis van Gaal has started his United career with even worse stats than the former Everton boss.
The Dutch manager has one point less in the premier league than what Moyes had last season after 9 games.
What is more painful is that Moyes could only sign Fellaini while Van Gaal has signed more than a few world class players and played relatively easy games and still results have been woeful.
Luckily, the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs have also started the season slowly and the Champions League places are still well within their sights even though the fixtures are getting harder from here on.
Nevertheless, Manchester United might not even be in Europe but they still remain a strong brand world wide and have lately completed their latest commercial signing.
As per the above given link, the Red Devils have signed soft drinks partner in Nigeria going by the name of Chi Limited.
“The multi-year deal allows Chi Limited to use United’s crest and club imagery on their products in Nigeria.”
The latest commercial signing surely will not excite the fans very much as they want to see new quality stars signed to reinforce the squad and take United to the heights where they belong.
