Arsenal Boss Provides Injury Update for Gala & Chelsea

Arsenal Ramsey WengerTottenham and Arsenal earned a hard fought point in the North London Derby on Saturday evening but Gunners are the ones who have suffered most.

Even before the game Wenger had so many injury concerns to deal with going into tough fixtures and after the game, things have gone from bad to worse.

Captain Arteta who recently returned from injury will be on the sidelines again because of calf problem while top playmaker Aaron Ramsey suffered a hamstring injury that will keep him out as well.

Not to forget, players like Giroud, Sanogo, Debuchy, Walcott, Monreal and Gnarby are on the treatment table as well and the latest injuries may as well hurt Arsenal bad.

They have tough fixtures coming up in the next 7 days with an all important clash with Galatasaray in the Champions League where gunners have lost there first game against Dortmund.

On the other hand, next weekend Arsenal will face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. They are already 6 points behind the Blues and a defeat will be major blow to the title chances of the North London side.

Wenger claimed:

“I think Ramsey is a hamstring and Arteta is a calf. Wilshere, an ankle (injury).

“Wilshere, I don’t know. The two others are out for Chelsea for sure.”

As per Wenger’s injury update, Ramsey and Arteta will not be playing against Chelsea and surely will be out of the game in midweek against the Turkish giants as well.

Arsenal have already been inconsistent in the games they have played this season and with more injuries, one cannot expect their form to improve. How will the gunners cope? we shall see.
