Welbeck Starts: Man United's Strongest XI to Face Swansea

Manchester United and Swansea will kick off the new Barclays premier league campaign on Saturday.
The two teams collided in last season’s opening fixture as well and Moyes started his reign with an emphatic victory. Everything went downwards for United after that.
United may have had a great pre-season but face crucial injury concerns for the opening game and the squad lacks depth.
Midfielder Carrick was already out injured for long term and now Van Gaal has suffered another blow as new signing Luke Shaw has been ruled out for four weeks with hamstring injury.
Van Gaal wanted Shaw to be more fit and perhaps his extra training has backfired and United are likely to use Ashley Young as the left wing back against Swansea. Young has been one of the top stars in the pre-season.
Fellaini did score the winner against Valencia in the last friendly but expect Fletcher to play alongside Herrera in midfield.
Star striker Robin van Persie will not take part in the opening game and Welbeck is likely to be the one to start alongside new club captain Wayne Rooney with Mata playing behind the Duo.
