Kevin Strootman Remains Firm Favorite Within Man United

Kevin StrootmanThe Red Devils continue their search of a top class central midfielder this summer but the question is who will they lure.
Quality stars like Kroos and Fabregas are out of contention but there are two players who may as well form Manchester United’s midfield next season.
According to reports, Manchester United may look to lure German star Bastian Schweinsteiger as he looks for new challenge.
However more importantly, there is one young star heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford. As per the provided link, Dutch international Kevin Strootman remains firm favorite within Man United this summer as his national coach Van Gaal wants him at United.
The £30m rated midfield is not in Netherlands’ World Cup squad after suffering a long term injury with Italian side A.S. Roma in March.
The Serie A side finished second and will be playing Champions League football next season. On the other hand, Manchester United will not even be taking part in Europe and that is perhaps the only negative aspect of joining Red Devils.
Surely he will be comfortable under his compatriot Louis van Gaal and can also get a more lucrative pay package than what he is earning currently with Roma.
However, will United’s Champions League exclusion bother Strootman, we will have to wait and see.
One thing is for sure, the Devils need quality players like Strootman to finish in CL places or fight for the premier league crown.

first of all, to sign any player ,(leave alone international and famous ones) you need to know something about football first and Ed Woodward surely doesn’t have that….!
Sir Alex should help him out here with LVG’s list, Woodward had to ask Giggs advice about a player Moyes wanted and Gigss vetoed that buy and Moyes lost his job as between them, thy failed to sign a single player Moyes wanted, apart from Fellaini(the buy they should have vetoed !!!!!)
So Woodward is surely not the right man for this aspect of his job as CEO, this is why United are finding it difficult to lure players to O/T….how can new players get the answers they are looking for from a man who is totally new to this !!!!!
