Man United now Leading to Sign €36m Midfield Star

Gundogan DortmundManchester United are linked with various midfield stars as Moyes desperately wants to reinforce the central midfield department.
Toni Kroos is the name mainly in the limelight but it is highly unlikely that the Bayern Munich star will be moving to Old Trafford.
Nevertheless, there is another German international that Manchester United have been chasing for quite some time.
Borussia Dortmund’s central midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has been on David Moyes’s wish list and perhaps now is the best time to make a move for him.
Apart from Manchester United, the real interest in luring him was from Barcelona.
However, as FIFA have handed the Catalan giants long term transfer ban, it means that Man United are now leading to sign the versatile midfielder.
The €36m rated midfield star has mainly been on the treatment table but was one of Dortmund’s key player last season and his qualities are inevitable.
Adding to that, as reported last month, even Gundogan’s dad claimed that he will prefer a move to the premier league and Manchester United must not waste any time in making an offer.
Will Moyes be able to sign Ilkay Gundogan from Dortmund next summer? He must as the German will largely help in solving the current midfield conundrum.

Moyes targeting the whole world. Thats clueless he doesnt have stand on which player to target

  2. Moyes must move faster than himself because he is a cassical type of Yaya Toure and his absent has affected dortmond his club this season as one the reason why they consived three goals down from Real Madrid.

If the CLUB allows Moyes to spend the transfer money this summer, then they are effectively signing their own destruction. This bloody stupid Manager is clueless on modern football tactics, and his player selection has only one objective…….which is to play as many English players as possible, regardless whether the tactics dictate to different player selection for the particular opponent that they are playing against.
Just look at Hernandez and Welbeck, we all know that Chica has plenty of goals in him, BUT Moyes persist with playing Welbeck ahead of him………this boy can’t score goals even if the ball is 6 inches from the goal mouth. Just look at the Bayern match, one on one with Neuer and he does that stupid chip rather than putting his foot through the ball……if Chica was there, we would have had a GOAL against Bayern.
Another is Rooney and Kagawa or Mata, Rooney good for an English player BUT not in the class of Kagawa or Mata to be playing a number 10 role. Fergie already decided to off load this guy in the summer but that Moron Moyes, came in and gave him a bump in his paycheck……..now Rooney is guaranteed to start in the hole as a No. 10, which is to the detriment of the Club and players cause his poor ball control and rentention constantly causes our team to lose possession in the middle or final third. How stupid can Moyes and his bunch of Everton coaches be……both Kagawa and Mata are able to retain the ball in close quarters and also find that penetrating pass, unlike Rooney who is an over hyped player. Moyes should just drop Rooney if he is not playing the striker role and let either Kagawa or Mata start as a proper No. 10, then we will get to see a more attractive brand of football as well as creating more chances for the front line to score. Nowadays with these stupid bunch of English players in the squad starting, our strikers like RVP, Chica etc would probably only get 2 – 3 scoring opportunities in the whole game, and the rest of the time is spent chasing down balls lost by either Rooney, Young, Carrick etc.
The Club needs to SACK MOYES before its too late !!!

I just want to see Garay in a United shirt. Hes a monster and would control the defense. That german guy Ginter could fill the other slot. I prefer Moreno to Shaw but if Shaw is the man Moyes want I’ll let him off. Carvalho, Gundogan, Reus and Kroos would fill the midfield slots. I’d keep Kagawa I reckon with the german lads he’d show his true quality. We still need a goal scorer. I miss a Nistlerooy type goalscorer. Cavani wont come to United so why waste our time.

gundogan, a player injured throughout the season and u want to sign him. Is of no use. So many question mark.

  6. I hav afeeling that the problem united has is not the players but Moyes, tell me where Mata, Kagawa, will play if Kroos and Gundogan are to sign for United. When i look at Nani on the bench when Young is playing i just wonder whether the manager doesnt see who is better, compare Chicharito and Welbeck even any fool knows the potentials of Henandez, i sometimes wonder why Cleverly is putting on the United jersey.
