Moyes wants €38m Superstar at Manchester United

Diego Costa Atletico MadridAlthough David Moyes recently claimed that he is not going to sign a striker such as the likes of Falcao and Diego Costa in the winter transfer window but he may have other plans next summer.
According to renowened Spanish news outlet El Confidencial, the Red Devils’s boss has been looking at Diego Costa with keen interest and wants him at Manchester United.
The Spaniard is flying high in La Liga this season and currently leads the goal scoring charts with 19 goals, level with Liverpool’s Luis Suarez in the race to win the European Golden Shoe.
As reported, Diego Costa has a release clause of €38m in his contract and with the kind of form he is in, United may as well have to activate the clause to sign him as Atletico are not likely to settle for anything less for one of the best strikers in the world.
The main question as a Manchester United fan is that why on earth Moyes is not trying to sign the striker in the upcoming transfer window.
English champions are not in a favorable situation to qualify for the next year’s Champions League. For worst, if Man United fail to finish in top 4 come next May, will they be able to lure a striker like Deigo Costa, highly unlikely.
Robin van Persie is world class but let’s face it, his injury days are starting again and his best days are past. Moreover, Welbeck and Hernandez are only decent backups, no way near as good as RvP.
In such a scenario, Manchester United need to sign one top quality goal scorer for the future as soon as possible before it gets real tough for them to sign one without being in the Champions League.
Not to forget, Arsenal are also interested in hiring the services of Diego Costa. It will be real hard for United to lure him with such heavy competition.

What? David “dud” Moyes still thinks he’s going to be Utd manager next season? Taking down the Champs to 8th place and possibly lower isn’t enough? Where the heck are Utd’s suits? When will they rectify the catastrophic mistake made in summer? Gus Hiddink, Lippi or Capello may still be available. Paying Moyes off would be far cheaper than a disastrous season without CL. Title is of course gone but at least there would be a chance next season. With David “dud” Moyes, there is no chance. Utd do not have to suffer for SAF’s mistake.

Moyes need to think fast if he really want to a mark for my dear club. There is this Pablo H. Who is perfoming great in midfield. He needs small polishing and wil be great.

ideally moyes should stop mediocrity and outline a focused convincing reason as to why costa cannot come to the club now, while our position is sympathetic

Moyes was the best option with little money to spend and not a particularly strong squad. When you go for a glory manager you have to spend huge and have an array of star quality just for them to compete look at the special one needs a 200m squad with 100m to spend to get into the stop 4, Pellegrinin’s team cost even more and United have never spent 42m on a player ala Arsenal.. United have an old and tired squad due to spending restrictions over the least 5 years and SAF running it into the ground(there’s goes the legacy!!). That will take a lot of skill/money to rectify. Moyes can do a lot with very little. Of course the question remains will he do a lot with more..That question hasn’t been answered yet. Fellaini was down to woo war as he failed to negotiate the successful transfer of any of Moyes real targets.

Why are you criticising moyes? he is a good coach and have started proving himself, dont you guys see that we are coming up little by little? A journey of a thousand miles starts with a step, we have alway been at the top three and this season will not be different just wait and see. Oh! dont forget that we are the only english team unbeaten in ucl.
