Why would Kelly play when all he has had is 27 minutes
Of 1st team football after spending best part of
12 months out? Kelly has only played once for the reserve side too

I agree that BR will stick with the formation, and hopefully with Hendo in a slightly more defensive role it will allow Gerrard to push up a bit further and affect the attacking play more often.
I don’t think Kelly will start. There are reports that Johnson is fit again so hopefully he’ll start, but if not I think BR will go with Wisdom down the right.
I’ve really liked Moses’ play so far this season, but in this formation what will happen to Moses when Coutinho gets back..? He’s not defensive enough to play on the left where you’ve put Enrique (who may lose his spot to Cissoko if he doesn’t find some consistency soon), and he’s not as good as Coutinho in the hole.
Finally, I think we’ll do well in this game and I might give Aspas another run in that number 10 role in the hope that he scores and gets his confidence up. If he hasn’t done anything by half-time then stick Moses in for the 2nd half. Just my thoughts.

4-4-2 anybody? (adapting to a 4-4-1-1 when either Sturridge or Suarez drops deep to link up with Hendo).

    Toure–Skrtel–Sakho–Enrique
    Sterling-Hendo-Gerrard-Moses
