Januzaj’s Agent Warns Manchester United Big Time

Januzaj’s Agent Warns Man United Big TimeThe 18 year old Adnan Januzaj seems destined for stardom after his heroics against Sunderland at the weekend.
Already being called the new Cristiano Ronaldo and compared to young Wayne Rooney, the pressure will be high but the youngster is ready.
Much has been talked about Januzaj’s new contract for Red Devils. However his agent has rubbished all the rumors but has warned Manchester United big time.
He claimed:

“These figures (50k-60 a week) have not come from us as I see no reason why we would leak this kind of information to the press,”
“Manchester United have wanted to discuss a new deal for the Albanian Belgian for a while now but due to the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson and Adnan not being in a rush to sign a new deal, this has been delayed.”
“If by 1 January no new deal has been signed, Adnan is free to speak to other clubs.”

Manchester United fans will be wondering what the management are up to and why no deal has been finalized yet.
The further Red Devils delay the deal, the more are the chances that Januzaj can be lured by other top European clubs.
David Moyes must act swiftly to secure him on a long term contract as the boy seems a supreme talent. He showed maturity, class and raised a dull United side against Sunderland being the most inexperienced player.
Manchester United cannot afford to lose Januzaj.

It wouldn’t be his fault though, I have no doubt that Moyes has told the board to get his contract sorted.
It is up to Ed Woodward and the board to get him tied down at the club, if they fail then it should be Woodward who gets the sack, he has been absolutely useless since getting the job.

I think the final sentence is the biggest clue here :
“If by 1 January no new deal has been signed, Adnan is free to speak to other clubs.”
Obviously the agent is going to wait and see what comes to the table, he’s not going to tell the lad to sign for United when Clubs like City are making it known they will pay 3x what United offer.
