Chelsea Player Ratings against Bucharest

Chelsea Player Ratings against BucharestAfter disappointing opening day in the competition, Chelsea have bounced back in style to register first Champions League win this season.
Goals from Ramires and Lampard ensured that Chelsea cruised past the Romanian side away from home.
Here is how Chelsea players performed against Bucharest and their ratings.
Cech – 7
Tested only once by the home side and had a comfortable outing in the goal.
Ivanovic – 7
Rock solid at the back, did not provide much support in attack but was not needed either.
David Luiz – 7
Could not control the habit of going forward but was less creative. On the other hand, solid defensively.
Terry – 6.5
Not as sharp as other defenders, gave away free kicks but overall was not troubled much.
Cole – 6.5
Unlike Jovanovic, Cole went forward and supported in attack. However, the England international was not calm in possession at times.
Lampard – 7.5
Helped Chelsea dominate the midfield battle, supported other attacking midfielders and scored a goal.
Ramires – 8
Two well taken goals and another fantastic performance put in by the Brazilian international. Tireless as ever and was rewarded.
Oscar – 7.5
Could not do much in the first period but was classy in the second half. Provided a superb ball for Chelsea’s third goal and Ramires’s second.
Mata – 7
Not as influential as he was against Tottenham, but should have impressed Mourinho as he did track back to help the side in defense as well.
Schurrle – 8.5
The main reason why Chelsea caused so much havoc in the opponent’s defense. Constant danger for Bucharest. His performance surely deserved a goal but did not get one.
Torres – N/A
The in form Spaniard limped off injured early in the game.
Eto’o – 7.5
Replaced Torres but still waits for his first goal for the new club. Played key role in second and third goal.
Azpilicueta – N/A
Late substitute used in place of Oscar, did not have much to do.
Willian – 7
Only given 10 minutes but that was enough time for him to impress and set up Lampard’s goal.
