Case of Déjà vu for Arsenal and Black Cats

Case of Déjà vu for Arsenal and Black Cats?Last February when Arsenal visited Sunderland at the Stadium of Light, the home side were in inconsistent form while Arsenal had injury problems.
It looks like a case of Déjà vu for Arsenal and Black Cats this time around too as Paulo Di Canio’s men are struggling to find form.
On the other hand Arsenal’s list of injured players continues to rise.
Vermaelen, Gibbs, Koscielny and Coquelin were all injured that day. However, Gunners fought hard to win the game.
Spanish maestro Santi Cazorla was the only goal scorer and his 36th minute strike was enough to seal three points for the North Londoners.
There are numerous first team players out injured this time as well. The main concern for Arsenal and the supporters is that they only have one fit striker, Olivier Giroud.
The Frenchman will still comeback tired for the international games and gunners will hope that he does not face any fitness issue on match day.
Sunderland, who somehow survived relegation thanks to brilliant form in the later stages of last season find themselves in the relegation zone again.
With only 1 point from 3 premier league fixtures, the pressure is increasing on Di Canio. A game against in form Gunners was the last thing he wanted.
Arsenal new boy Ozil is likely to start the fixture and they remain strong favorites to beat Black Cats again.
