Manchester United Target to Stay Put

Galatasaray forward Burak Yilmaz has drawn interest from top Eruopean clubs thanks to his brilliant performances for the Turkish side this season. However, the Manchester United target may as well stay with his current club if they do not opt to sell him.
The Turkish international has scored 30 goals this season that include eight in the world’s best club competition and the rest in the league. Such stats linked the striker with Manchester United, Liverpool and lately Atletico Madrid.
Last month, Yilmaz’s agent claimed that Atletico Madrid might be favorite to land the prolific striker to replace their talisman Radamel Falcao who is likely to leave the Spanish Capital this summer with major interest from the riches of Chelsea and Manchester City.
On the other hand, his client has other ideas as Burak claimed:

“I’m really happy at Galatasaray. I have a five-year contract here. If an offer comes on the table then it’s the club’s decision which will matter”

Fatih Terim has turned Galatasaray into a very competitive side that has won the league title easily as they have a 10 points lead over rivals Fenerbahce.
Adding to that, the big name signings of players such as the likes of Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder means that the Turkish club are now an exciting prospect and no wonder Yilmaz will be happy to stay.
Perhaps only a mega bid for him may force the club to sell their prized asset; otherwise it is highly unlikely that Galatsaray would want the star striker to leave the club.
Manchester United already have numerous quality options upfront and they do not really need a striker that bad. However, knowing that their rivals are going to strengthen this summer hence United are looking for world class strikers.
Lately they have been linked with Borussia Dortmund’s star Robert Lewandowski and Atletico’s Falcao as well. Whether or not Ferguson will sign a striker this summer, we shall have the answers soon.
