Arsenal to Overtake Spurs and Chelsea

Arsenal will be looking to step up their play for a top four finish when Norwich visits the emirates today. The gunners are in great form and are favorites to beat the Cannaries who lie 14th in the league, only two points behind
A determined 2-1 win against West Brom last week meant that Arsenal are only two points away from Champions league places and may move into top 4 with all three points today.  Spurs and Chelsea are not featuring this week and if Arsenal are able to beat Norwich, they will occupy third place.
The gunners will be without senior defender Mertesacker who was sent off against West Brom last week. In form midfielder, Tomas Rosicky will be looking to start after his superb outing against West Brom. The Czech star scored two goals and Wenger is likely to hand him a deserved start today despite.
Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere may return from injury but Wenger will most probably opt to not start the pair for reasons best known.
Although Norwich lie in 14th place in the league still they are far from safety. The visitors have only won once in their last 15 premier league fixtures and if that kind of form continues then the fans should fear the worst.
Relatively Norwich do not face much harder fixtures than the relegation threatened teams but they have to hit form now if they are to survive the shock of relegation. Their next three games are against the sides lying below them in the bale i.e. Reading, Stoke and Aston Villa
Having said that, Arsenal should have an easy outing today against the Canaries and a win will be their eighth in the last ten fixtures, such is the current form of Arsene Wenger’s men.
Not to forget, Noriwch defeated Arsenal earlier in the season in their own backyard. Can they upset Arsenal against all odds yet again, only time will tell.
