Andy Carroll doing West Ham no Financial Favors

Andy Carroll doing West Ham no Financial FavorsLiverpool loanee Andy Carroll is doing West Ham no financial favors at all while they are looking to buy him on a cut price deal of just 10 million. The Reds value the record British signing much higher and his recent performances are only helping Liverpool here.
The Merseysiders will never sell Carroll for cheap. Carroll’s good form may as well be helping West Ham in the premier league but on the other hand if that form continues then they must realize that the bid of 10 million will never be enough for the England International.
Liverpool paid a mammoth 35 million pounds to sign the big striker from Newcastle United. However, the big Geordie never fitted in the system at Anfield. Brendan Rodgers will probably look to sell him in summer as he does not suit the quick passing playing method.
Since Carroll is still young and effective, Liverpool will want at least the 18 million mentioned during the summer transfer market.
He may not fit in Liverpool but the reds know it very well that he surely does fit in a more direct system that is there at West Ham United. Since his return from injury, Sam Allardyce has built his team around Andy Carroll and that has proved really fruitful for the club lately.
Carroll has scored no less than 5 goals in his last 7 outings and with that kind of form, the offer of mere 10 million for him does not make much sense.
Liverpool are in no rush to sell their number 9 and if West Ham United are not ready to pay the asking price then that is no big deal as there will be numerous suitors interested in the big fella when he returns to meryseyside in summer.
After a brilliant campaign last time around, Newcastle are in the bottom half of the league this season and have been struggling to fight against relegation as they are only 5 points from safety with 6 games remaining. The Tyneside were not ready to pay 18 odd million for Carroll last summer but they may as well look to the former star striker as a solution to their current problems.
Liverpool need to make reinforcements of their own as well in the upcoming transfer market and the funds from Carroll’s sale will be beneficial in that cause. Therefore, West Ham have to make their minds quick enough and match the asking price if they are serious about signing Andy Carroll who is currently an asset for them.

That 10m offer is laughable and i dont think WH have what it takes to pay even 15m or more

  2. Narisk says:

I fear that no one will be ready to pay 18m and we will have to loan him again or sell for a cut price

  3. Braw says:

£10m or £15m?? Wtf!! For a 5 goals a season ‘striker’ can you not see the problem here?!!! Lol!

  4. Jolee says:

eveyone knows Andy’s worth the Money, they are don’t have the guts to admit it.
On the other hand the source behind this article knows nothing, they have no proof of a 10 million offer and they have never spoken to WHU, LFC, Andy or his agent.

  5. Lika says:

West ham cannot/will not pay 18 million as simple as that even they do know hes worth the money. For that reason everywhere rumours have circulated about an amount of 10m which Liverpool will not even look at if there is anything concrete in it

  6. Patrick says:

£16m I think is about right.. If Carroll had an injury free season next year he could be a 20 goal striker no doubt about it. WH could make him the player Kenny thought he was getting and raise his value to over £20m and make him a good investment..

  7. jimmy says:

simply fed up with LFC and the way they do business

  8. onmyown says:

first half of the season Andy is injured the majority of the time and all people can talk about is him not scoring enough goals. Now he is scoring goals and then suddenly he is not doing WHU any favours, honestly get a grip

Will make sense if you could just read the content too, he is doing wonders for west ham as far as his performances are concerned, but when it comes to keeping him on a permanent thats where the dilemma

3 words FINANCIAL FAIR PLAY = NO DEAL FOR WHU/CARROLL. That’s the future of football. Deal with it!

  10. fran says:

he was never worth 35 million and hes not worth 18 million now. 10 is about what any manager should risk in this big plank. he may come good playing in the right system and be worth 15-20 million but its a big might! u can look at him with all the rose coloured glasses u wish but he had half a good season for Newcastle and kenny blow his muck anf paid bout 3 times more than he was worth. other than that hes never been a prolific goal scorer. he seems to be a bit injury prone too.
