Arsenal Finally Signing Ready-Made Stars But Must Keep Theirs

Arsenal Finally Signing Ready-Made Stars But Must Keep TheirsArsenal are having an impressive transfer season as manager Arsene Wenger have added top quality players for a price that can be considered equal to a “steal”. Needless to say, Arsenal have spent unlike themselves as they usually do not just splash a lot of cash without selling players. There is still considerable time left in the closure of transfer market and most importantly the Gunners must keep their best stars.

                                                          Arsenal Signing Ready-Made Stars

Since Arsenal won their last trophy in 2005, Wenger normally focused on buying young talent for the future and rarely bought proven stars that too in bulk. Unfortunately, the club made stars and lost some of those in their prime such as the likes of Adebayor, Nasri and Fabregas. That has changed this time around as Le Professeur has reinforced the squad with world class players at the peak of their careers much to the delight of Arsenal fans who are desperately waiting to win silverware.
Podolski is easily worth more than many premier league players bought for hefty sums, only cost 11 million and has been a key member of Germany squad for the past 7 years.  Wenger always has one eye set on French talent and once again he signed last season’s best striker of the French league in Giroud again for just 13 million. Last but not the least; Arsenal may have captured the signing of the transfer season by acquiring the services of Santi Cazorla from Malaga. The Spanish wizard is technically better than his team mate Mata as he is versatile and can play both in wide and central positions. With such talent on board, Arsenal may finally end 7 years trophy drought.

Arsenal Must Keep Key Players

As mentioned earlier, there is still time before transfer market closes and perhaps the dilemma for Arsenal is their Business Model. In the past 6 years,  Gunners only spent more and sold less in seasons 2006/2007 and 2010/2011 else their transfer dealings attached a title of “selling club” to their name.  This season Arsenal have not offloaded a single top player but like every year, their stars attract heavy interest from footballing giants.
The scary fact is that Last year’s top duo captain van Persie and Song have been heavily linked elsewhere and selling them can be a major blow. Giroud has the quality and potential but it will be a crime to say that he is better than captain and premier league top scorer van Persie. Although injury prone, but when fit, there aren’t many strikers better than him. Song has been a revelation, a natural defensive midfielder who provided no less than 14 assists last season. Perhaps Cazorla is more creative than him still Arsenal need Song to break plays and control midfield with his sublime passing. Whether or not Song and van Persie are offloaded, only time will tell but if Arsenal want to compete with Manchester clubs and win titles, they must not even think about it.

Id get rid of that traitor van Persie – say what RVP still doesnt think Gooners have ambition after singing so many top players

  2. eddie says:

On the area of RVP I think wenger should cash in on him and play either podolski upfront or pair him with Giroud. Or play one of them with Santi behind. RVP is not bigger than Arsenal. On Song I don’t think he wȋ̊ℓℓ be sold cos he is at his peak and is getting games regularly. Just improve his contract and see him perform

Really good post. And says lot of facts.
As a selling club, Arsenal may sell some players to make some money they spend.
Last couple of years Arsenal is trying to make profit only, not at all trying to win anything. If they don’t sell their best players in this season, we can say Arsenal is trying to get something this years.
But still i think, Arsenal is trying to get good money for RVP. Arsenal will sell him, NO DOUBT.

If you really think about it Arsenal a club which I love darely have sold their best players in the past veira for fabragas and Thiery Henry just to make way for Robin who gave the club 1 full season in 7 years Ronbin should be loyal the trust Arsene put in him, but on the other hand its a business and Arsenal is about businessm so be loyal Robin Arsenal for throphies this yeaar!

  5. Wenger should not sell vnp and song o………..

  6. Aliy says:

Please dont ever try to sell soog but u can sell rvp…keep gun them?

  7. Baah says:

for RVP to leave i have no problem but for my one and only Song in the EPL oh please let him stay. We can pair Podolski alongside Giroud then move on.

  8. me says:

don’t dare sell van persie wenger until the other strikers gain experience from him plus song never sell him at all and pliz buy neymar even if he costs us 100million a future to arsenal.

  9. lanre says:

I do not support the idea of arsenal selling of our best players even though they are at their last contract, we are too close to trophies this season so selling will be another blow of the season, you can’t compare new signing with adaptable player in EPL. By selling again will create more Chances of other players out of arsenal in the future then why can’t we just keep our best player even at their last year whatever might be their age, if we can keep them not only this will send message to other player of their wanting out of arsenal will be difficult but also arsenal will win and celebrate many trophies. Gunners till my Last breath!

I greet all arsenal fans around the globe. Please arsenal management must as much as possible keep their stars inorder to compete with man city, man united, chelsea and co. But if RVP sale looks inevitable, i think arsenal should cash on him. And in the case of song arsenal should not make a mistake to sell inrespective of amount clubs want to pay bcos song understands arsenal’s mildfield well. So we must keep song even if rvp decides to. With song and likes of our new bought mildfider and the rest i am certain this season will be great for Arsenal. Thanks all

  12. Salako femi says:

Hello my fellow gunners,l like everyone of u opinion as arsenal fans,my own opinion is that let us watch how dis season is going to be, l mean if we can start very good in the beginnig of dis season we can achieve our goal bcos dat is what mancity did last season to become champion of EPL.Lastly wenger should not try to sell song to barca bcos it will be a big blow for us,thanks my fellow gunners.Gunners till last breath.
